About the Team


Mike and Linda Moffenbier | Owners

Mike and Linda met about 1,000 years ago when Mike was serving in the US Army and Linda was working in the education field in Kansas. Mike fell in love with Linda immediately and is still waiting for Linda to reciprocate (just kidding honey).  They have two children and six grandchildren in TX and AZ and an amazing extended family many of whom have homes in the area.  After the dinosaurs became extinct Mike got into the beverage business and eventually became a Certified Coffee Specialist where he worked with many of the major coffee companies and honed his knowledge before deciding to escape corporate America and going into the roasting business.  Mike and Linda had researched many operations before coming across The Pinetop Coffee House that was originally founded by Beth Wagner.  Mike and Linda fell in love with the products and bought the business.  Mike loves roasting coffee and seeing the joy it brings to customers when they give a compliment or express their love for the product.  They always ensure the coffee is fresh and of the highest quality and Linda will always greet you with a smile when you enter the shop.  Through their passion for coffee and people and the love of the White Mountain area Mike and Linda moved from their previous home in Austin, TX to AZ and are loving the community and the people here.


Faith | Greeter | Manager | Barista in Training

(The one with four legs who also acts as an alarm sometimes)


Faith is a 3-year-old Miniature Dachshund (but don't tell her that). She has been with Mike and Linda since she was found wandering the streets of Houston Texas with her sister Hope.  Faith loves greeting guests into the shop and showing off her tricks to them if they give her some nice puppy treats. She will also scarf down a bean from the roaster if one escapes and you can find her bouncing off the walls when that happens (caffeine).  Faith loves being the star of the show and center of attention when she is in the shop and she is working on her roasting certification and barista credentials as well
