Pinetop-Lakeside Award Program Honors the Achievement
PINETOP-LAKESIDE March 24, 2023 -- The Pinetop Coffee House & Roasting Company has been selected for the 2023 Best of Pinetop-Lakeside Award in the Coffee Shop - Best Coffee category by the Pinetop-Lakeside Award Program.
Each year, the Pinetop-Lakeside Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Pinetop-Lakeside area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2023 Pinetop-Lakeside Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Pinetop-Lakeside Award Program and data provided by third parties.

Mike and Linda Moffenbier | Owners
Mike and Linda met about 1,000 years ago when Mike was serving in the US Army and Linda was working in the education field in Kansas. Mike fell in love with Linda immediately and is still waiting for Linda to reciprocate (just kidding honey). They have two children and six grandchildren in TX and AZ and an amazing extended family many of whom have homes in the area. After the dinosaurs became extinct Mike got into the beverage business and eventually became a Certified Coffee Specialist where he worked with many of the major coffee companies and honed his knowledge before deciding to escape corporate America and going into the roasting business. Mike and Linda had researched many operations before coming across The Pinetop Coffee House that was originally founded by Beth Wagner. Mike and Linda fell in love with the products and bought the business. Mike loves roasting coffee and seeing the joy it brings to customers when they give a compliment or express their love for the product. They always ensure the coffee is fresh and of the highest quality and Linda will always greet you with a smile when you enter the shop. Through their passion for coffee and people and the love of the White Mountain area Mike and Linda moved from their previous home in Austin, TX to AZ and are loving the community and the people here

Faith
(The one with four legs who also acts as an alarm sometimes)
Faith is a 7-year-old Miniature Dachshund (but don't tell her that). She has been with Mike and Linda since she was found wandering the streets of Houston Texas with her sister Hope. Faith loves greeting guests into the shop and showing off her tricks to them if they give her some nice puppy treats. She will also scarf down a bean from the roaster if one escapes and you can find her bouncing off the walls when that happens (caffeine). Faith loves being the star of the show and center of attention when she is in the shop and she is working on her roasting certification and barista credentials as well

Veteran Owned and Operated, The Pinetop Coffee House & Roasting Company sources Organic and Fair Trade Certified coffee beans from all over the world through our trusted importers. We have perfected the best blends roasted in our shop at 7,000 feet to give each of our coffees their own unique flavor profiles. We roast your coffee beans in house so your coffee is always as fresh as possible! We have named all of our blends after Arizona counties.

NAVAJO BLEND
This coffee is a Light / Medium Roast using beans from Sumatra and Costa Rica. This Coffee has full flavor and body and low acidity. COFFEE PERSONALITY – Kind, Generous, Welcoming, Smooth, Laid Back and Peaceful.
COCONINO BLEND
This coffee is a Medium Roast using beans from Costa Rica and Sumatra. This Coffee has a hearty flavor and body and low acidity. COFFEE PERSONALITY – Peacemaker, Balanced, Compromising, Sweet Natured.
YAVAPAI BLEND
This coffee is a Medium Roast using beans from the Guji region of Ethiopia and Columbia. This Coffee has rich flavor and full body intense notes. Our newest blend. A a beautifully balanced coffee with smooth sugar or caramel like sweetness with a mellow acidity and a nutty undertone combined with a backdrop of cocoa and spice.
COFFEE PERSONALITY - Cool, modern, sassy. Just tell me I can't do it then stand back and watch!
APACHE BLEND
This coffee is a Dark Roast using beans from Sumatra and the Sidamo region of Ethiopia. This Coffee has intense rich body and wonderful aroma and a smooth finish. COFFEE PERSONALITY – Bright, Witty, Sharp, Protective.
COCHISE BLEND
This coffee is a Dark Roast using beans from Guatemala and Costa Rica. This Coffee has intense dark flavor and smooth body and a rich aroma.COFFEE PERSONALITY – Bold, Uncompromising, Edgy, Intelligent.
MARICOPA ESPRESSO BLEND
This coffee is an espresso Roast using beans from the Sidamo region of Ethiopia and Brazil. This Coffee has rich flavor and full body intense espresso notes. COFFEE PERSONALITY – Eccentric, No Boundaries, No Rules, NO Apologies! My own Thing
GREENLEE DECAF
This coffee is a Light / Medium Roast using beans from Sidamo and Papua New Guinea. This Coffee has rich body aroma and a smooth finish. Don't expect a typical decaf flavor. COFFEE PERSONALITY – Happy, Bold, Energetic yet laid back and Kind.
Roasting temperature and time and our 7,000 foot altitude give each blend its own unique aroma and taste.
